Hi, Thank you for posting. I have also check HP site for this computer and found there was no update for Windows 7 drivers. At this time, please just try the drivers for Windows Vista or Windows XP and see if it works.

Hi All, I have an issue with upgrading to Windows 7, some of the drivers are not supported by HP (Win 7). Nov 10, 2012 I have a huge problem with my laptop hp pavillion tx 1000. Windows 8 can't find co processor and nvidia geforce drivers! I looked for them at the official HP website but the drivers version were only for vista and 7.

Run the software and install it to “c: SWSetup sp39911”. Go to Device Manager. Navigate to the network adapter (or it may be just an unknown device with a yellow exclamation mark), right-click on it and select “Update Driver software”.
When the “Update Driver software” window appears, please choose “Browse my computer for driver software”, and locate the folder (C: SWSetup sp39911) which you have just extracted, check the item “Include subfolders” and click Next. Nicholas Li - MSFT. HP Pavilion tx1000 tablet (Vista Home Premium 32 bit) 'lost' it's Broadcom WLAN prior to any Windows Vista SP1 updates.
What a great idea this machine was- so many conveniences packed into one device. I installed Vista SP1 and discovered installing the HP 'sp47344' driver seemed to resolve the missing Broadcom WLAN device issue on the old HP tx 1000 running Vista Home SP1. Two boots later the tablet 'lost' it's Broadcom WLAN again. Everstart Jump Starter Hp250 Manual on this page. HP tech support back in 2008 told me NOT to run Windows update and to use only HP Update (yet there have been NO updates available since via HP update.) Has me wondering if the HP tx1000 meets Hardware Compatability for Windos Vista SP1. See below - funny how only one from the whole lot of angry t1000 users asks if it may be a Vista issue. Sounds like the cheapest and fastest option is to buy a new WIFI card or WIFI USB and install that. Don't waste your time tyring to fix what many have already attempted, without success.
