Hi IN not sure if you have tried using the manufacturers early driver version (from the Canon site that I visited last update was version 1.11) and use Win 10 Troubleshoot Compatibility feature. Using the MP160 ver 1.11 (Win 7/Vista x86 & 64bit) the Win compatibility mode can run it as Win Vista SP2 (unfortunately I can not test the scanner & printer as I do not have this model, currently I'm using MP280 and this model is included or embedded in the OS) If Win Device Manager can detect the printer, how about in Device Manager >Imaging Devices if the scanner listed, in Devices & Printer if you right click the printer icon does it have an option to Scan (this use WIA not TWAIN).
