I'm trying to clean up a new HP Pavillion a6250z. I've uninstalled/removed most of the junk that came with Vista Premium, however there are are a few files that just won't go away. Leer Puerto Serial Php Windows. Program Absensi Siswa Php there. Particularly HP Health Check.
Advice needed about which HP bloatware to dump. Don't know what bonjour is or if I'll need it if I ever want to grab the apple iplayer. I would get rid of all hp, cyberlink, all installed.
I've disabled that and the scheduler, but I can't delete these files, even when logged in as administrator. 'Destination Folder Access Denied' 'You need permission.' When I went to check permissions it had a user account attached that was 'special'.

Of course, I contacted them (as mentioned above) and got a worthless reply. I'd abandon Windows entirely if i didn't need it for work.

All the preferences for the use are grayed out. I can only see. It has a permissions type of 'special' The problem I'm experiencing seems rare as I spent days and could find no-one posting with a similar issue.
But my computer doesn't lie. Sitting there in C: Programs is a folder called Hewlett-Packard with parts of programs I had already 'removed'. Not only that, I received the following from HP Support 'You will not be able to delete the files completely as it is inbuilt with the operating system.
